Cassandra Clare fan club

This is such a moving letter! S1E students asked me to send it to Cassandra Clare and to invite her for an author visit at our School. I don’t know if we have a chance, but we’ll try our best!

“Cassandra Clare was born overseas and spent her early years traveling around the world with her family and several trunks of fantasy books. Cassandra worked for several years as an entertainment journalist for the Hollywood Reporter before turning her attention to fiction. She is the author of City of Bones, the first book in the Mortal Instruments trilogy and a New York Times bestseller. Cassandra lives with her fiance and their two cats in Massachusetts.” (www.goodreads.com)

Dear Ms. Clare:

We are, Alex, Blanca, Josh, Tomás, Niko, Sophia, Joseph and  Victor, from the class S1English, from the European School Rein-Main. We are contacting you from Germany, because we read your amazing books, and we absolutely loved every minute of them, our library has most of your great books, and we would like to know how you wrote them and how you got the whole amazing idea of the Shadowhunter and Downworlder world.

We LOVE the way you write your books and the characters that at all moments are humorous. We find amazingly interesting how you express your books, and the way in which you can never find out what´s going to happen next. We would really appreciate if you could come to our school to show us some facts about your books, how you wrote them and your personal opinion, it would be an honor for us.

Although we are all living in Germany, we are in an English class so there would be no problem with the language. We all speak good proper English.

Thanks a lot!

S1 English
